2008 Wildcard Weekend

Game 1: I’m a huge Cards fan, but I see Atlanta controlling the ball, and Arizona having a tough time stopping them. Look for some fired up play and acrobatic catches from Boldin and Fitzgerald to keep them close.

Falcons 27. Cardinals 24.

Game 2: The battle of the two AFC teams nobody wants to face. Fresh off of his 3rd MVP Award, Peyton (the other Manning brother) may have something to prove, but I like San Diego to pull this one out in the end.

Colts 31. Chargers 33.

I’m at my fifth party in 4 days, and I don’t want to appear anti-social so I’ll post my predictions for tomorrow’s games tomorrow. Of course in the time it took me to write that, I could have just done it now. Oh well.

  1. Did this work?

The second half just started and Rolle just took his recovered fumble in for a TD. 27 – 24 Falcons? Where’s the faith?

  2. I couldn’t be happier to be wrong about game one. I really thought the Falcons would have been able to run on the Cards.

  3. hmm… bookmarked ))
